Every month the charity conducts activities to
fulfill the needs of youth including:
various types of group dynamics (quiz, painting, singing)
personality development and stress management
Career advancement
Opportunities for youth to spend time in silent meditation and repose.
Collaborate with various youth organizations providing summer camp for children
held at the charity’s premises in such activities as painting and singing
SENIORS:
Every 2nd Thursday seniors attend the charity’s talks on various subjects like stress management, updating current social issues and programs that enhance their capacity to deal with their problems
Drug Awareness Program:
The charity participates in the public spreading of awareness concerning the dangers of drugs and alcohol in conjunction with St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver.
ASSISTANCE IN HARO PARK, Vancouver (HOME FOR THE AGED):
The charity offers unpaid assistance to sick and
old people in Haro Park
Providing social service and religious assistance
Celebrating the Holy Eucharist
Anointing of the sick
PROMOTION OF CULTURE AND EDUCATIONS THROUGH PUBLICATIONS:
The charity also provide social and religious
awareness through writing articles in periodicals, magazines and publishing
books
The charity distributes educational and inspirational literature free of cost
especially to those who are not able to pay.
The charity promotes intercultural understanding and harmony among different
cultures, religions and traditions around Guardian Angels Parish in downtown
Vancouver and St. Edmund’s Parish in North Vancouver
HOSPITAL:
The charity visits the sick in the hospital and
offer prayers and special spiritual assistance and moral support to the sick.
The charity also make visitation to senior homes (care homes) and offer personal
and spiritual support.
SCHOOL:
The charity conducts conferences to children on various topics and social values and inculcate good citizenship to the children.
The charity has assisted in partial financing of an addition to a seminary in Mysore, India for the training of young men to the priesthood.
The charity has supported a village in Nigeria called Oforola, of a Catholic priest who is the pastor of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Surrey
